I set up the Nick Nairn Cook School in April 2000 with one very simple aim: to get more people cooking by giving people the skills necessary to be able to turn great raw ingredients into great food.
Back in our early days, we were teaching 3-4 people at a time, and just like the Cook School garden, we’ve grown and developed organically. Today, we’ve got 2 great cook school locations and an amazing team of 21 foodie ambassadors, trained to excite people about fantastic food.
In basic facts and figures, we’ve had 58,000 people take part in lessons and have the capacity across our 2 locations to teach 78 people every day – whether its a full-on foodie day or a “Quick Cook” 2-hour session. Combine these numbers with our teaching know-how and I know we’re making a difference.
Our cookery schools offer the very best: in tuition, produce, facilities and locations. Whatever class you choose, we know you’ll be glad you spent the time with us.
Here you can find everything you need to know about the Nick Nairn Cook School – where to find us, who’ll be teaching and why we’ve been voted to be the in the top 5 cookery schools in the UK in the British Cookery School Awards.
Our FAQ section will answer everything you need to know, whether it’s about your booking, what to wear or what’s involved in a typical day.
